This page explains the privacy rights of visitors in the European Union / United Kingdom (GDPR) and California (CCPA/CPRA) when using CookDelice (cookdelice.com). It complements our Privacy Policy.

• Technical data — IP address, browser and device type, pages visited (server logs, for security).
• Contact data — name, email and message when you use the contact form.
• Newsletter — your email address, if you subscribe.

To run and secure the website, reply to messages, send the newsletter you asked for. We never sell your personal information for money.

Our legal bases are your consent (newsletter), taking steps at your request (contact form) and our legitimate interest in a secure website. You have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• correct inaccurate data;
• have your data erased ("right to be forgotten");
• restrict or object to processing;
• receive your data in a portable format;
• withdraw consent at any time;
• complain to your local data protection authority.

California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect and why, to request deletion or correction, to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, and not to be discriminated against for using these rights.

We do not sell or share personal information for advertising.

We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. Your light/dark preference and ticked checklist items are kept in your own browser's local storage. Videos and maps only load — and only contact their providers — after you click them.

The website is served over HTTPS and our providers use industry-standard security. No online service is 100% secure, but we limit the data we collect to what is needed.

Contact messages are kept as long as needed to answer you; newsletter addresses until you unsubscribe; server logs for a short security period.

Links to other websites (for example nutrition references) are governed by those websites' own privacy policies.

CookDelice is not directed at children under 16 (13 in the US), and we do not knowingly collect their data.

We update this page when the law or our website changes; see the "Last updated" date above.
